Researchers to unveil finding of two studies.
[reg} The MIT Concrete Industry Day in August 31 will see the unveiling of two important studies on concrete. The institute’s Concrete Sustainability Hub will host the unveiling of two inaugural studies: “The Edge of Concrete: A Life-Cycle Investigation of Concrete and Concrete Structures” and “From Liquid to Stone: The Genesis of Concrete.”
An article posted in Cement Americas reports that, the Hub established at MIT by the Portland Cement Association and National Ready Mixed Concrete Association-affiliated RMC Research & Education Foundation is a research center that aims to foster concrete science and engineering breakthroughs to improve the industry. The Hub, aims to play an environmentally proactive role in aiming to quantify and enhance concrete’s sustainable properties. {/reg}
